80's Legend


Do my eyes deceive me? Or are those the hearts from the super awesome 80's Nintendo game (with the gold cartridge) - The Legend of Zelda?

Let's take a closer look:

Yep. Definitely Zelda hearts. Someone should explain to the tombstone guy that you die when all the hearts are empty, not full.

    I briefly worked at a memorial stone engraving company. We once engraved a tomb stone with the zelda sword and the nickname "Chewie"! It was sad, but awesome.

    I don't know. Those hearts look empty to me. Like it they were full, they would have a carved outline, but the inside would be the same as the rest of the marble.
