I found the wreckiness in the fact that the Hancock Family thought they deserved a credit line. Maybe buying the stone was an act of charity for an indigent family or forgotten hero or something, but giving yourself a credit line means is isn't really charity as much as "Aren't we just the greatest, though?" self-promotion .
