I love the mystery of this wreck.
Did they mean "not quite centered" literally?
Or did they want something not quite centered on the stone?
Also the flair is fantastic. We have timeless birds paired with a 1990s computer on a 2007 headstone, plus luggage bound for heaven*.
*Despite paying the extra bag fees, it will no doubt be rerouted to Duluth.

My guess (and it's just a guess) is this is one of those times, like on cakewrecks, where the person ordering the tombstone said they wanted the text not quite centered, and the person taking the order thought that's what they wanted it to actually say. What it was supposed to say, I guess we'll never know, though why the people who ordered it didn't demand to have it changed, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Thursday's post?
ReplyDeleteIt was here one minute, gone on Friday. And then no post 2 days. Are you okay? BTW, I love coming here and seeing the funny things people put on their loved ones headstones. What were they thinking?
pssssst! ---- Duluth
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is which one of them wasn't quite right?
ReplyDeleteAre you saying Duluth is Hell or Heaven?
