Based on the early date, I'd say that perhaps they just spelled the name differently. My grandfather's last name was spelled Gambal, but his brother was Gamble (because that's how his teachers spelled it in school).
The two people on this stone were married. I've seen an obituary with brothers with the last name Wolf/Wolfe, but a wife taking a husband's name, well, you'd THINK she'd somehow choose to spell it the same.
Tomb wrecks are real tombstones that make us laugh. No photoshop work is done here (except to cover the names of the victims). We know death can be a touchy subject, and no disrespect is intended. We view this as the lighter side of the other side. While we welcome your photo submissions, we absolutely do not condone trespassing or damaging grave markers. Don't wreck a potential wreck! :o)
