Explorer0713 was kind enough to point out that this is a modern marker that has replaced the original. Kudos to the tombstone guy for keeping the mistakes on the new one - save the Tomb Wrecks!
I'd like to also make note of the use of the phrase "a way" (as in a manner in which something might happen) rather than "away" (as in the popular phrase "passed away").
As someone whose family had a similar occurance while immigrating, that went unmarked, you gotta love that the family didn't let history forget the deceased completely. But on the other hand ya kinda want to shake 'em for remembering them like this.
Tomb wrecks are real tombstones that make us laugh. No photoshop work is done here (except to cover the names of the victims). We know death can be a touchy subject, and no disrespect is intended. We view this as the lighter side of the other side. While we welcome your photo submissions, we absolutely do not condone trespassing or damaging grave markers. Don't wreck a potential wreck! :o)
